Path toApprenticeship

 

1. Click this link to request an account:

   

    (previous applicants will use your email on file and reset your password)

 

2. You will receive a confirmation email when your account has been accepted.

    This could take up to 48 business hours.

 

3. Log in and complete the "Inside" application.

    (This is found by clicking on the application tab at the top of the screen)

4. UPLOAD all required documents:

  • Resume as a PDF

  • Official High School transcripts (not your diploma) or GED scores as a PDF

  • Proof of one credit in algebra - this should be on your transcripts

  • Valid Driver's License

  • If you are a Veteran, you can upload your DD214

5. Take the Aptitude Test

    Once we have processed your completed application, you will receive an email with your

      scheduled date and time for the aptitude test.

6.  Oral Interview with the JATC committee

     Applicants who receive a qualifying score of 4 or higher will receive

       an email with their interview date and time. 

       Your score on the interview will place you on our ranked list for possible selection for 12 months.

 

 

Please check your account often. We communicate by email. There is a message tab on your online account that will also show your messages. It is the applicants responsibility to make sure their application is complete.

You have 30 days to submit a completed application from the date you start it.

Uploaded documents must be a PDF or Word format

 (with exceptions of the drivers license) and must be clear. 

If you have previously applied, you should have an account--you will just reset your password. 

If you have industrial/commercial electrical experience, you can email apply.orejatc@gmail.com

to see if you qualify to not take the aptitude test.

If you have taken the aptitude test within the last 2 years, please email apply.orejatc@gmail.com

and we will retrieve those scores.

If you do not show for a scheduled aptitude test, you will not be rescheduled to take it again for 3 months

and will have to reapply to the program. 

If you do not show for a scheduled interview, you will not be rescheduled for an

interview until 6 months past your recent application.
